People love adrenaline. And if you can get it quickly and with almost no effort, then it’s just a Klondike. And not only for those who like to tickle their nerves, but also for arbitrators. Because we earn from the deposits of those who like to play (but not only from them).

With the development of technology and the Internet, gambling moved online. The online gambling market is constantly evolving along with web technology. It is this connection between online technology and recreation that led to the emergence of iGaming. What is iGaming and how do arbitrators earn from it? How much money can be made in this vertical in 2024? Don’t worry, we’ll tell you everything soon.

What is the iGaming industry?
iGaming (gaming industry) is an industry related to the gaming business on the Internet. Includes a variety of gambling games such as slots, poker, roulette, blackjack, as well as sports betting and other games available over the Internet.

Limited in some countries at the legislative level.
If you as a webmaster are satisfied with at least 3 out of 5 points, then we can move on.

How much can iGaming earn

A brief history of iGaming
To put it succinctly, iGaming is all about online betting. And this wording has not changed since 1994, that is, since the very beginning of the industry. And a brief history of iGaming looks like this:

  1. In October of the year, the first online iGaming site was launched, where you can buy tickets for the international lottery in the country of Liechtenstein;
  2. The Kanawake Gaming Commission is established in Canada to regulate all gaming activities on the Kanawake Iroquois Territory. The governments of Quebec and Canada do not yet recognize the existence of iGaming;
  3. Industry revenue exceeds $2 billion. Experts predict that by 2023, the total market volume will exceed $70 billion per year.
    2003: Launch of online casino site 888.com, which would become the first online casino licensed in the US in ten years;
    2018: The US Supreme Court struck down the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA), clearing the way for online sports betting in the US;
    Experts almost guessed: according to Mordor Intelligence, in 2023 the volume of the online gambling market was 60.63 billion. The forecast for 2028 is 103.74 billion dollars.
    We will talk about the prospects of the industry in one of the following sections of this long grid.

iGaming niches in arbitration
These include the following:

Sports betting. The popularity of a particular sport depends heavily on GEO. In Ukraine, they love soccer, Americans respect American football, and Indians are crazy about cricket. Find out the details in the offer, and you will be happy.

Slots Electronic versions of traditional slot machines. Sometimes they are also called “gaming machines” or “bandits”. Slots are one of the most popular online casino games. In turn, they are divided into reels, paylines, jackpots, etc.

Poker and blackjack. Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Stud, Sit & Go, Blackjack tables with real dealers and more.

Lotteries One of the oldest types of gambling, which over time migrated online;

Roulettes Everything is simple: just like in a casino, but also online.

There’s also lotto, craps, scratch cards, and a whole host of other gambling activities that the arbiter can earn a few bucks from. How exactly can webmasters get paid in iGaming? There are several payment models in this vertical.

Vertical is legal in a number of countries, in particular in Bourgeois. Namely:

Australia;
Canada;
Belgium;
France;
Germany;
Ireland;
Netherlands;
Spain;
Sweden;
Switzerland;
States.
You can also pour iGaming traffic to the UK. This list is not exhaustive and you can pour on other countries, including Tier3. African countries are considered one of the promising destinations in 2024.

This is an essential point for an arbitrator, especially if you are just starting out in this vertical. The payment model defines how arbs will earn money for bringing traffic or customers to a partner or advertiser. For example, here is a hybrid payment model — this is when you receive babos both for the client’s performance of targeted actions and a percentage of his future spending on the account. But, unfortunately, it is not always possible to work according to the hybrid model. IGaming has the following payment models.

CPL in iGaming
CPL (Cost Per Lead) is a model in which the arbitrator receives a commission for each lead involved. It doesn’t matter how much money he drops after you get him on the pitch, you get paid once per lead. A targeted action can be account registration, first deposit, first login, etc.

The percentage for the performance of the target action is always specified in the offer.

Advantages: it is easier for the arbitrator to control his own budget;

Cons: Not all leads may be good, and once approved, the arb may end up with less money than expected.

FTD based CPA in IGaming
CPA is Cost Per Action, i.e. payment for action. FTD is First-Time Deposit. Putting these two concepts together, we get a model according to which the webmaster receives money for the first deposit of the involved lead. But this is also a minus, because it is not known when the ice will make its first depot – maybe tomorrow, maybe never. Moreover, not all involved players become permanent on the platform.

Pros: guaranteed conversion for arb; possibility of traffic optimization for arb; projected costs for advertising;

Cons: often expensive conversion; uncertainty of payment terms.

Revshara (revenue share)
It stands for “split income”. We also have a separate article about this payment model – “everything you need to know about the arbitrage game”.

In the context of gambling, this model can work when you, as a professional, prove the high quality of the traffic you pour into your ad. For this, you will receive part of the funds that the leads lost during the month on the site of your advertisement.

Pros: flexibility and convenience of payment

Cons: Only available to Arbs with a good reputation

Should iGaming offers be promoted?
It is worth it because there is money there. In 2018, the US Supreme Court legalized sports betting. After that, the respective companies began to pour funds into the industry, contributing to the expansion of the market.

The iGaming vertical 2024 and its prospects
The market will grow. And this is what precedes it, even with a series of military conflicts spreading around the world at the end of 2023:

Technological innovations. The spread of virtual and augmented reality technologies will lead to the fact that gaming platforms will become more and more exciting and attractive;
Regulatory changes. Increased monitoring by governments and competent authorities increases the credibility of iGaming. Unlike the crypto market, this is no longer the Wild West, and arbitrageurs can earn here more calmly than on highly volatile digital money;
Convenience of mobile platforms. As we have already mentioned, online gambling is convenient and affordable.
